NC Stauffer & Sons is a structural steel and sheet metal fabricator established in 1969. Our primary business is custom detailing, fabricating, and installing stainless steel safety guarding and sound enclosures for several of this country’s largest papermaking and food product companies. These customized packages are designed to meet OSHA. standards in all cases.
While stainless steel fabrications are our specialty, our shop personnel also have extensive experience working with carbon steel and aluminum. We routinely fabricate items such as stairs, handrails, catwalks, platforms, machine frames, food handling and transfer equipment, oven enclosures, specialized tanks, agitators, truck body parts, etc., out of any material previously mentioned. We complete these projects either from customer prints or our own customer approved designs.
To compliment our sheet metal and structural steel fabrication, we also provide machine shop services, which enable us to produce single parts or complete machines. This further enables us to provide complete “TURNKEY” services to many diversified companies. All parts are given a first piece inspection, and then all orders are completely inspected by our quality control personnel prior to shipment. Also available is our CAD Department with complete design, drafting and installation services.
Our shop personnel consists of approximately 45 people working multiple shifts, including weekends when necessary. We have found the multiple shifts arrangement to be productive and necessary, since many items require next day delivery.
Should you have a need for services such as we offer, we would appreciate being placed on your bid list of approved vendors. Our shop facilities are open for inspection by appointment, except in designated areas if proprietary work is being performed.
